Anxiety Practice Clarity Program

Discover the specialty that creates a fulfilling and sustainable mental health career

All therapists want:

  • a waiting list and the ability to pick their ideal clients
  • to feel fulfilled and know they picked the right specialty that resonates with their values
  • to know where to get the best trainings
  • to collaborate and share ideas of how to formulate the best treatment plans for clients
  • to create a case load that is reasonable and sustainable

If you haven’t found the right specialty that leads to your ideal client you are in good company. Specialties can be tricky to narrow down and figure out. Anxiety is an issue that almost all therapists put on their list of things they treat, but a specialty in Anxiety is a little different.

Becoming an anxiety specialist means narrowing down your focus and finding anxiety disorders and related disorders that you want to treat. Some of them include OCD, pediatric OCD, Selective Mutism, Panic disorder, health anxiety, body focused repetitive disorders, tics, misophonia, emetaphobia to name a few.

There are lots of benefits of an anxiety specialty:

  • It is rewarding to see clients improve and face their fears
  • there is always something new to learn
  • there is plenty of research on how to constantly improve your therapeutic skills

I’m Deborah Mertlich, LCSW and I’ve been an anxiety specialist for several years and I love it. I enjoy finding ways to improve my clients lives and help them face their fears. Over the years I’ve narrowed down my focus and really honed in on my ideal clients. This makes my daily work much more rewarding. This work resonates with me and aligns with who I am as a person. That is why I created the Anxiety Solutions Network. I want to create a space for clinicians to design an ideal career that will last.

This is your career and you want to enjoy the work you do and feel connected with others. The therapy profession is incredibly rewarding, but also extremely challenging because we are dealing with people who need help. I like to think of the membership as your virtual office mates.
